I've written a few stories over the years. The first two, about Sundancer, are science fiction. Influences, at least the ones I'm aware of, are Robert A. Heinlein's Friday and Anne McCaffrey's The Ship Who Sang, and Cape Breton fiddler Natalie MacMaster, who plays a mean fiddle and can dance while doing it.

The Coming of Winter is based very loosely on a relationship I had some time ago. I borrowed the title from an instrumental piece by guitar and autoharp player Harvey Reid. It's an adult story, although those who think "adult" is always a synonym for "porn" will be disappointed (too bad!).

The pages are linked within each story, but if you can't finish a story in one go, you can come back here and click on the page link to the right. ---->

I hope you like the stories. Here's some links related to story influences:

You'll find The Coming of Winter on two of Harvey's CDs - The Autoharp Album from 2003 and Overview from 1990. The Coming of Winter CD is out of print.
